This is a quick proof of concept for a project I am planning, (It includes the basic logic of it) Essentially you have two files a style and an input, in the style.txt you can define certain 'keys' to be replaced and modifiers for the replacement, theres only one modifier right now ignore-case that lets you replace no matter in what case it is, theres an example in the README if you didn't understand me (quite common) repo: github.com/AdrianRang/TXRP

I am almost done creating my macropad for #C07LESGH0B0|. I have added RGB, and an OLED display, but I still need to add two rotary encoders. It is partially routed in its current state, but I realize that adding rotary encoders might require me to rewire a lot. However, I am unsure about how to use I2C GPIO expanders in QMK, so if I add rotary encoders, that will be tough to tackle. Btw, I would appreciate it if anyone would take a look at my schematic in my repo github.com/TheScientist101/hackpad to check if it is correct.

Let's do a quick showdown of what's been cooking for #C07NUNPGEU8| during the week of September 22 to 28, Philippines Standard Time. Apologies if this week's been a hell week due to being the 1st quarterly exam on the 25th and 26th day of September, 2024. The bulk of the coding hours in the week are dedicated to building the MVP features for the Slack app version of Recap Time Bot, our multi-purpose toolkit/service account/bot for Recap Time Squad's projects and friends, including hooking up Prisma ORM for Postgres data presistence on Nest (instead of coping up with the Airtable free tier limits) and building up some workflows via TypeScript Slack app development work (permission requests for accessing some bot features and slash commands). See the attached screenshots for a sneak peek. The rest is mostly infrastructure related work for both my personal and Recap Time Squad cloud resources (mainly Cloudflare DNS records over octoDNS and some Docker Compose shenanigans), plus some behind the scenes work for my website powered by Material for Mkdocs theme. Overall, I banked 10h 11m as of time of writing (up to the publication of this scrapbook entry), totaling to 14h 46m since September 17 (plus 10m designing for fun and profit) without the 'browsing' hours. I forgot that I have to scrapbook for #C07NUNPGEU8|, so I thought I might make one now. While designing my #C07LESGH0B0|, I’m kind of stuck, I had everything routed, but I want to add more components, so I unrouted everything. I never thought I’d be able to design a PCB before, but I’m making progress. I figured out how to add a display, and all the switches, but my main problem now is that I don’t know how to make the keys RGB, and I am running out of GPIO pins. I’ve heard of something called an IO expander, which could fix my GPIO pin problem, but I still don’t know about the RGB. Also, I am currently at an FRC competition, so I will probably finish coding auton for that soon. I’ve done all this #C07LESGH0B0| yesterday and today, for a total of 6 or 7 hours so far just on this project, and 2 hours of (tracked) FRC work; I wasn’t tracking my FRC work earlier. I will update y’all on this and FRC soon! On a side note, I got my friend to try #C07LESGH0B0|!

Today I worked on my Minecraft Fabric Slack <-> Minecraft chat relay mod! I've added all the core functionality: • Sending messages to Slack from Minecraft • Sending messages to Minecraft from Slack • Sending advancements to Slack • Sending death messages to Slack • Sending server start/stop messages to Slack • Sending player join/leave messages to Slack There's still more to add, but this is good progress and it's been fun to make! If you want to check it out, the repo is here: github.com/DillonB07/SlackBridge, I do have a workflow to build the mod but it doesn't work so I'll fix that tomorrow/

i forgot how much li loved tech-comedy youtube. I downloaded 800,000 youtube comments (thru youtube data api) on Michael Reeves videos, to search for robot ideas. I made a word cloud, but most of the words are naughty. its crazy data to look at though, almost 1 in 8 comments is a robot idea.
