I tried to get my lcd1602 to work, but it's really sensitive and wasn't working. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to rewire the wires before realizing the lcd didn't work. Sadly, it's still sensitive, and I can only see a blue screen, rather than the little square things that usually show up. Also, I read the documentation for the lcd, yet for one library, there was none, and I'd have to read over the actual functions, which really confused me. When I tried to make my own code, I realized how off I was because I of that library. Also my workspace is getting messier and messier. Oh well: github.com/nathantsai1/boredlights/commit/126bf589ff1bcf099d780a5fba9e28fe5afbcfbe

I learnt that a potentiometer is impossible to fit into a breadboard, and connecting it is fragile. I also learned how how to use an arduino. github.com/nathantsai1/boredlights

This was the first time I pulled information out of other sources / websites, and it took me a while to actually wrap my head around this. This started around me just wanting to learn something that I never learned previously, and UI, and Python were just something familiar that I knew, and wanted to add some knowledge and more familiarity / better formatting. A new side project arose trying to learn about what the weather symbols meant, and how to convey that info into the website in a non-really complicated way. There are 4 different pages, and I hope it works OK (please do not overload Replit's version, as there will be a jinja crash[please read more in the README file]) Enjoy!
